This mare has won off a mark of 72 over C&D as well as finishing second three times off similar marks.

She recently returned from a 167-day absence with a prominent display before fading like she was in need of the run and she is subsequently down to a mark of 59 with a 7lb claimer booked.

A low draw is key in these races and she has been handed stall 4.

This is a weak 45-65 race in which Sharjah looks the obvious pick.

He has been frustrating to follow this season but he won’t find a better chance than this and he has been drawn in box 3 which will favour his front-running tactics.

At a big price Dollar Value is worth a mention. He has been plying his trade over hurdles recently so he is sure to stay 2m now back on the AW.

He was once rated 67 on the flat and is off an attractive 51 here.

This Frankel gelding started life with Sir Michael Stoute and based on his recent second a mark of 68 could prove lenient on handicap debut.

He has a feather-weight getting a monster 22lb from the top rated horse and he is a healthy e/w price with William Hill paying four places.

Jim Bolger’s Agitare sets a fair standard to aim at but Aidan O’Brien often targets this race winning it three of the last four years and Tiger Moth may be good enough.

Like many from the yard he will have improved for his initial racecourse experience and he is bred to appreciate this trip.

Both Strongbowe and Mudlahhim set a fair standard here with the latter’s second to Magna Grecia looking the stand-out piece of form, but it is the former we will be siding with.

They are drawn at opposite sides of the track (1 & 14) and if not getting any luck on the bend, stall 14 can prove troublesome for any horse.

Our selection could make plenty of ground at the part of the race which will pay dividends at the finish.

This multiple Group1 entrant was beaten at 4/7 last time out but the winner was successful in a group race at Naas on Monday and that form makes her the one to beat.

The yard excel around here and she has a nice draw.

This 6-y-o gelding has dropped to a nice mark and his recent staying on 6th at this venue caught the eye.

He is off the same mark here, has a much better draw and the claimer shaves off a useful 7lb.
