Doncaster Saturday Preview - 15/12/2018

11:50 - Kings Inn

Kings Inn can take the Town Moor opener - the bet365.com Handicap Hurdle for the combination of Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden.

Was beaten fairly quickly on most recent start at Chepstow which was his hurdles bow since joining the former Champion Trainer, having raced predominately on the flat beforehand.

Improvement is expected.

12:25 - Esprit De Baileys

The bet365 Novices' Hurdle featuring several inexperienced horses can be taken by one the least raced horses over timber in the field, in Amy Murphy's Esprit De Baileys.

One start over hurdles, when a beaten favourite at Chepstow, was a solid enough effort and progression is sure to come his way.

Just the six runners, and it is there for the taking.

13:35 - Theclockisticking

The Grade 2 bet365 December Novices Chase is one of the main showpieces from Donny on Saturday, and in this four-runner field, Theclockisticking looks the likely winner.

Was an easy easy winner at 1/12 in match up on his chasing debut at Fakenham latest. Needs a clear cut career best to take this, but not without a chance at all.

Ciaran Gethings rides.

14:10 - Cliffs Of Dover

Cliffs of Dover is a course and distance Grade 2 Juvenile winner, and is surely in with a shout in this bet365 Handicap Hurdle.

He certainly has mileage in this mark if settling better than last month, where he was a remote eighth to Black Mischief at Haydock.

Cobden and Nicholls could be seeking double.

14:45 - Quel Destin

Next up is the Grade 2 bet365 Summit Juvenile Hurdle, in which Quel Destin can continue to prove that he looks a fine prospect going forward.

He beat Cracker Factory to win a Grade 2 round Cheltenham last month, and holds leading claims here as a result.

Interesting contest matched by the selection.

15:20 - Go Conquer

Go Conquer can take the finale for Nigel Twiston-Davies and Tom Bellamy, on his first outing since his third in the Sodexo Gold Cup Handicap Chase.

Was a beaten favourite that day, but sure to be well fancied once more, and can beat them from the front if at his best.

Claims.
