This isn’t a vintage renewal of the Darley Prix Morny with Aidan O’Brien’s Blackbeard looking a tough nut to crack at 7/4.
He certainly has his quirks, but they seem to be straightening out as he gains experience, and his 3l victory over The Anarctic in the Prix Robert Papin has received a nice form boost.
Persian Force has to bounce back after being put in his place last time out and that may well leave a mark on him.

Next up is the Prix Jean Romanet Stakes where Ebaiyra looks to improve on last year’s 6th place finish.
The 5yo has improved plenty since then and she wasn’t suited by the front-running tactics that day therefore we believe she rates a fair each-way bet at 5/1.
She is versatile with ground conditions and connections have tried first time blinkers.

Skazino will prove popular here having got the better of our selection at Longchamp, however he had the perfect trip up the rail, and as a 4yo Joie De Soir is still on the improve.
