sands of mali flat racing sprint

Saturday - 12:00 Redcar - Risworthian

"Risworthian goes for us in the first at Redcar and our two year olds have made a good start to the season, we are really happy with them.

"This fella was caught wide on debut and the form of that race is working out quite well and we expect him to improve a bit on that.

"So hopefully he will shape up better for the experience."

Saturday - 12:30 Redcar - Imperial Gloriana

"Imperial Gloriana is a filly we quite liked last year with her knocking on the door in each of her first five starts and on form she is probably the one to beat in this race.

"We are hoping that stepping her back in trip over six furlongs will see her go close on her first run this season."

Saturday - 13:30 Newmarket - Arbalet

"Arbalet was narrowly beaten at Redcar last time out, this is a slightly better race but he is a horse we like and we are hoping he has some claims on Saturday."

Saturday - 13:40 Redcar - Highly Dancer

"Highly Dancer is having her first run and in this race there are some horses that have previous experience and some placed form.

"She might find one or two of them too good on debut, but she is a nice filly to follow for the rest of the season."

Saturday - 14:50 Redcar - Tukhoom

"Tukhoom has been running well so far having improved for his run the last day at Ripon, so we will see how he goes as he has improved for every run so far this season."

Saturday - 14:50 Redcar - Star Shield

"Star Shield loves Redcar and is probably the best chance of the two in this race.

"He ran well at Doncaster last time out and took a big step forward from his first run to his second.

"His Redcar form is very strong and gives him a solid each way chance."

Saturday - 15:25 Redcar - Manzo Duro

"Manzo Duro was narrowly beaten at Doncaster last week on his first run this season.

"We are stepping him up in trip which we fell will suit and we are hopeful he will show up well on Saturday."

Saturday - 16:00 Redcar - Ruby Wonder

"We were a little disappointed with Ruby Wonder's first run back this season.

"Five furlongs, back handicapping should suit her and we are hoping she will run ok, but she will need to improve quite a bit on her first run of the season."

Saturday - 17:25 Lingfield - Tabaahy

"Tabaahy ran ok over five furlongs at Lingfield on debut, if he improves which we feel he will for his step up to six furlongs then he should be thereabouts."

Saturday - 18:30 Lingfield - Dancing Rave

"Dancing Rave has some very good form at Lingfield but this is over a mile and she is probably slightly better over seven furlongs but we are hoping she will run well."

Sunday - 12:00 Hamilton - My Best Friend

"My Best Friend shaped well enough over seven furlongs at Thirsk, he drops back to six furlongs on his second start here and we are hoping that will suit him better."

Sunday - 12:35 Hamilton - Manolith

"Manolith has been running ok on his first two runs but probably needs to take a step forward here to be winning on Sunday."

Sunday - 13:35 Newmarket - Orbaan

"Orbaan is a nice horse to follow for the season, we quite like him but it is his first run of the season so we are just getting to know him, but he is possibly one to follow for later on in the season."

Sunday - 13:45 Hamilton - Al Khabeer

"We were very happy with Al Khabeer at Beverley, he shaped very well but this looks a decent race with some well bred newcomers involved.

"We are looking forward to running him again and he is certainly a horse to follow for the season."

Sunday - 16:05 Hamilton - The Trendy Man

"The Trendy Man was a little bit disappointing for us last season but we are getting him out on the track to see where we are with him."
