"We were delighted with his run at Newmarket, he made up plenty of ground after a sluggish start on a day where horses were struggling to come from behind, so it was a very good performance.
"We feel the stiff six furlongs at Ascot will suit obviously as he was fifth in the race last year.
"Ideally we would have liked the ground a little bit quicker as he is at his very best on faster ground but ultimately this stiff six on good ground should suit and he will be going there with a chance."
"Gulliver was another very consistent horse last season and the stiff six furlongs will suit him and we have had this race in mind for a while.
"He needed his reintroduction race at Newmarket in the same race as Summerghand and we hope to see a big step forward from him at a track that should be more to his liking."
"Arecibo ran well in a group race at Newmarket over five furlongs and we are trying the six today.
"He will be held and ridden to stay out the trip but there is a bit of a question mark whether he will stay out the stiff six furlongs, but he will be ridden to do so.
"Danny Tudhope is very good at hold up rides at Ascot, so that will be the plan, hold him up and see if he can be produced late."
