13:15 Doncaster - Firmament

"It did not work out for Firmament the last day at York as they did not go a strong gallop and he was to handy not getting the cover he needs, so we think you can draw a line through his last run.

"Before that he was in very good form, winning the race before at York and we have been happy with how he is at home.

"It is a competitive race but if he rediscovers the form of his win at York he should be there with an each way chance.

"There are a fair few three year olds in the contest that are lightly raced, so he is taking on a lot of unknowns with those younger horses, but we expect him to run a solid race, hopefully getting a nice gallop and he can get a bit of cover.

"Taking him away from York is a slight negative with the best of his form coming at that track, but the horse is in fine form, hopefully the race will be run to suit and we expect him to have an each way claim."

14:25 Doncaster - Arecibo

"Arecibo has been a very difficult horse to win with but runs a similar race more often than not getting involved, but finds it very difficult to get his head in front.

"He ran a cracker in this race last year, looking like the winner but again did not finish off his race.

"He looks a good each way bet normally being a solid candidate to finish in the first five or in the mix a furlong out, but he is a hard horse to win with so if having bet it must be each way."

16:45 Leopardstown - Escobar

"Escobar runs in Ireland and he is an interesting runner having ran twice at Leopardstown before and not ran well but it looks like it is a mile round a bend which is going to be a strongly run race and it should suit him.

"He has a good each way chance, obviously having a slight bit of concern on his record at Leopardstown, but the horse is well, the conditions will suit and also the style of the race should be to his liking.

"We are expecting a good race from him and it is a race we have won with Suedois and Custom Cut in the past and we feel like Escobar is on a similar level to those two horses."

17:40 Musselburgh - Le Chiffre

"Our best chance of a winner this weekend is Le Chiffre who has been a consistent horse that has improved this year as a three year old.

"He will be stepping up to a mile having ran over 71/2 furlongs the last few times.

"He is probably our best chance of the weekend, he should run well with first time cheekpieces and we are expecting him to go close."
