The first big race of the day at The Curragh on Sunday is the Group Three Anglesey Stakes over six furlongs and the stand out runner looks to be Lipizzaner.

The son of Uncle Mo finished second in soft ground maidens on his first two starts and then stepped up to finish fourth in the Group Two Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Having finally got off the mark two starts ago at Navan, he stepped up to the Group One Middle Park Stakes last time out and was sixth of eight.

That Group One form sets the tone for the race and dropping back in class has to be feared.

The Listed Staffordstown Stud Stakes comes next over a mile and the unexposed Cycladic for Jessica Harrington looks a superstar in the making.

The two year old filly has only been seen once before on a racecourse finishing fourth in a decent maiden at Gowran on soft/heavy ground.

She finished behind Group One winner Shale that day, who has gone on to frank that form and some and with the conditions being soft again she has a great chance to break her duck.

The penultimate selection of the day for us comes in the Group Three International Stakes over 1 mile 2 furlongs and Order Of Australia deserves his chance to land a group race.

The Aidan O'Brien trained three year old has been superb of late over 10/12 furlongs winning events at Dundalk and The Curragh and heads into this contest seeking a hat-trick.

He was chucked into some tough races at the start of the season finishing fourth in the Irish Derby and then midfield in the Prix du Jockey Club and since dropping in class has flourished.

The final runner of the day from us comes in the Irish Cesarewitch and the Emmet Mullins trained Cape Gentleman has a huge chance.

The lightly raced four year old has only been seen four times in his life to date being a son of Champs Elysees and being very consistent in all of his runs.

The gelding ran three times in France last year placing and winning once in decent event and on his sole run this season he was another good second behind smart bumper horse Mt Leinster and if coming on for that run should handle the trip.
