Cheltenham November Trials Weekend 540/1 Each Way Lucky 15

Friday 16th November - 13:50 - Modus

The first of our horses in the each way lucky 15 for this weekends November trials meeting at Cheltenham comes on the Friday in the BetVictor Handicap Chase over 2 miles.

We have selected the Paul Nicholls trained Modus and for us this is an easy selection with a lot of factors going in the horse and trainers favour.

Paul Nicholls is one of the most in form national hunt trainer over the last week, getting a five timer on the card at Wincanton whilst constantly picking up winners up and down the country running at a strike rate of 30 percent over the last week.

Modus had his first come back run of the season at Cheltenham just three weeks ago and what a seasonal reappearance it was taking the Randox Health Handicap Chase beating some really good horses that had already had a run.

This time around Modus is back at the same track in a similar race standard and now he has the benefit of having a run under his belt and should be better for that and will be hard to beat.

Friday 16th November - 15:00 - Tiger Roll

The second horse selection in the Lucky 15 again comes on the Friday in the Glenfarclas Cross Country Handicap Chase over 3 miles 6 furlongs and there is one stand out hors in this bunch of runners that we couldn't bet against.

The 2018 Chelteham winner and Aintree Grand National victor Tiger Roll is back for another season after having the campaign of his life taking one of the biggest jumps race in the world.

The Gordon Elliot trained eight year old will be looking to get his season underway in style at the home of his favourite course where he has picked up four victories at the course with three of them coming at the Festival in March.

Tiger Roll is one of the best staying horses around and if fully fit and back to his best after his summer break he will be very hard to beat and is currently a nice price at 9/2.

Friday 16th November - 15:35 - Dinons

The penultimate horse in the Lucky 15 comes in the last race of the Friday in the Grade 2 Ballymore Novices Hurdle over 2 miles 5 furlongs and this selection is one of our horses to follow for the jumps season.

Dinons trained by Gordon Elliott is a horse that has showed so much promise this season and we believe this horse will go on to perform really well at this years Cheltenham festival.

This five year old has not really had a summer break and has more so just had individual month gaps off the track to reboot and get himself ready for a long season, but since his fall in July he is unbeaten in his last five races and has got stronger and stronger in each race.

He has been running in maidens and has recently been stepping up to Class 4 races but has been obliterating fields, going on to take the contests by close to 20 lengths at a time. Even though this race is a clear step up in Class we believe he has the potential to be a really special hurdler.

Saturday 17th November - 14:25 - Mister Whitaker

The final selection of the each way Lucky 15 carries over to the Saturday and we have selected a horse in the feature race of the day at jumps racing HQ in the Grade 3 BetVictor Gold Handicap Chase over 2 miles 4 furlongs.

We have selected the Mick Channon trained six year old Mister Whitaker to go on and take the spoils. This chaser is the definition of consistency and certainly loves it around the Gloucestershire track winning here twice in his only two runs at Cheltenham.

Mister Whitaker made his seasonal reappearance at Carlisle at the start of the month in a Class 1 Listed Chase and scored brilliantly showing no signs of rust and scoping like he could be even better this season.

He took the Close Brother Handicap at the festival last season and this race on Saturday is a very similar run race with a very familiar field to the six year old and we believe he will take some beating.
