Big Irish Graded Racing Preview For Friday

13:40 Limerick - Espoir D'Allen

The first tip from the Graded racing In Ireland on Friday comes from Limerick in the Grade 3 Irish Independent Hurdle over 2 miles and it features some really smart horses but we have gone for Espoir D'Allen.

This Gavin Cromwell trained four year old arguably has the form pick of this race as he was about to chase home a galloping on Saldier before he fell at the last and gave the win to the J P McManus owned horse.

However this form would have been solid even if finishing second and because of that reason we think he will revel in the conditions again on Friday and land this Grade 3 contest.

13:50 Leopardstown - Apple's Jade

The second selection from the Irish Graded races comes from Leopardstown in the Grade 1 Squared Financial Christmas Hurdle over 3 miles and we are going with the Gordon Elliott trained Apple's Jade.

This six year old has been superstar this season winning both her races really well and although she is being stepped up in trip today she is still the leading contender.

Last season she was not herself at all but this season she is by far back to her best winning Graded races and if she can stay the trip will give Elliott and Gigginstown quite a predicament as to what race she will be supplemented for at the Cheltenham Festival.

15:00 Leopardstown - Kemboy

The final selection from the Irish Graded races comes from Leopardstown in the Grade 1 Savills Chase over 3 miles and we are going with the Willie Mullins trained Kemboy.

This interesting six year old is one of the least exposed in the field but has a really bright future and on his seasonal reappearance looked smart as well beating a good field of five in the Grade 2 Clonmel Oil Chase.

On Friday he is stepping up in trip an in the weights and it will be a huge test for the youngster of the field but with his progressive nature and the way that form has worked out he has a great chance at each way odds of 10/1.
