Who to follow in the UK on Saturday - 13/06/20

Horse To Follow - King Of Comedy

One of the biggest races on Saturday in Britain is the Group Three Diomed Stakes at Newbury and a horse making his seasonal debut is the John Gosden trained King Of Comedy.

The four year old looks a class above the rest in the field having showed how good he could be last season when second in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and also second behind Benbatl in the Group Two Joel Stakes.

Although only winning the one decent race last season in the Listed Heron Stakes at Sandown, he still holds plenty potential as a two year old and Gosden's horses seem to be flying at the moment.

Trainer To Follow - John Gosden

That leads us over nicely to our trainer to follow for Saturday's meetings and the master handler John Gosden has his horses fit and ready to go for the season ahead having provided plenty of winners since the resumption of racing.

Overall from 69 runners he has had 21 winners which is remarkable and has seen him gain a strike rate of 30.43%.

Gosden has plenty of entries tomorrow spread around Newbury, Doncaster and Sandown with King Of Comedy one of his big chances on the day.

He has a respectable record at all these tracks posing a strike rate of 19.05% at Newbury, 38.10% at Sandown and a staggering 46.15% at Doncaster.

Jockey To Follow - Oisin Murphy

The Champion jockey has spent no time at all picking up from where he left off last season landing 14 winners since the resumption of racing.

He has also managed to land his first Group One of the 2020 season when giving Kameko an expert ride in the 2000 Guineas for trainer Andrew Balding.

He rides at Doncaster tomorrow and will be looking to extend his tally of winners with a handful of rides up north with plenty of them in with big chances.
