Who To Follow At Sha Tin

Horse To Follow - Stronger

In the final race of the day the John Moore trained Stronger, although he is top weight the colt looks to be the pick of the bunch and a nice each way price.

The unexposed three year old has been in smart form in Hong Kong with a win and a place in his last five runs but has been in the frame on his other outings.

Last time out he was a bold second at Sha Tin over a slightly shorter trip and now stepping up in trip and gaining some valuable weight off him with decent claimer Jerry Chau, he has to be respected.

Many bookmakers are offering four places on this race and at 6/1 should enter the placings if running to form and over coming the wide draw.

Trainer To Follow - C H Yip

Yip is a well known handler in Hong Kong and has not been shy of winners during his career, teaming up mostly with jockeys Zac Purton and Joao Moreira who can't stop winning.

The trainer has had two winners from his last 16 runners at both Happy Valley and Sha Tin and with 11 entries across the meeting on Sunday he may just pay to follow.

Jockey To Follow - Jerry Chau

Jerry Chau is one of the most up and coming jockeys in Hong Kong and arguably the sport with the 10 pound claimer gaining some nice winners throughout the season.

This season he has claimed two winners and five places in his 29 rides at Sha Tin and although that is not a record that will set the world alight, for an inexperienced jockey it is a solid record.

Some of the biggest and well known handlers that feature on the Hong Kong racing circuit are starting to trust Chau and give him more rides.

With that in mind he has eight chances across the card on Sunday that all look to have frame shouts, especially with his 10 pound taking off weight.
