The feature event of the afternoon is the Group One Fillies' Mile and it looks to be a one horse race with Inspiral a very smart youngster for John & Thady Gosden.

The Cheveley Park Stud owned juvenile is one of the most inexperienced horses in the field, but obviously holds bundles of ability off the back of her debut.

The daughter of Frankel on debut was seen landing a seven furlong event on good to firm at Newmarket in superb style, with the second and third in that race since going on to frank it.

She then went onto boost that form line herself next time out stepping up to Listed company and being a standout winner of the Star Stakes at Sandown.

Last time out she stepped up again into Group Two company at May Hill Stakes and took the event in style by four lengths.

The filly looks highly progressive and deserves her chance in a Group One and she looks like she should make it 4/4 for her career.

Trainer To Follow - Charlie Appleby

The trainer to follow on Friday on the Rowley Mile looks to be the very talented Charlie Appleby who will be looking to end the season with as many winners as possible.

The Newmarket based trainers big chance of the day comes in the Old Rowley Cup with Siskany looking to see off his rivals using his stamina reserve.

Other nice chances on the day for the handler look to be D'Bai and Al Suhail in the Group Two Challenge Stakes and Wild Beauty in the Group One Fillies' Mile.

Appleby heads into the meeting running at a superb strike rate of 29% for the last two weeks having managed to produce eight winners from his last 28 runners.

Jockey To Follow - James Doyle

Finally, the man in the saddle to follow on Friday is the Godolphin second string rider James Doyle, who has some nice rides for his retained owner, but has also managed to pick up some nice spares.

In the first group race of the day he sits in Tardis who looks to have a live chance and then he teams up with Simon & Ed Crisford to ride Fast Attack in the Oh So Sharp Stakes.

His big ride of the day comes in the Challenge Stakes on board D'Bai who looks to have a race like this in him.

The Doyler has been banging in the winners of late landing six winners from his last 33 rides which sees him pose a 18% strike rate ahead of the meeting.
