TWE Weekend Review

Weekend Review

This weekend saw a worldwide social media blackout that we took part in and with that in mind many of you might have missed some events of the weekend, so we have put everything you may have missed from the racing world and also the winners we managed to acquire across the last few days.

It was one of the biggest weekends so far in the UKs flat season with the first two Classic events of the season taking please.

The Group One 1000 and 2000 Guineas did not disappoint with some superb performances across both the events also seeing some bigger priced winners of the great races, with us picking out the 12/1 winner of the fillies event with Mother Earth bringing home the glory for Aidan O'Brien

Across both the Newmarket cards we saw some potential superstars with youngsters being unleashed for the first and second times as three year olds.

The Punchestown festival rounded off its five days of action with Honeysuckle making it 12 wins in a row on Friday night when taking the Paddy Power Champion Hurdle.

On the Saturday at Punchestown the big winners were Stormy Ireland who has made an emphatic resurgence to form since coming back to Willie Mullins and also Jeff Kidder, who has now landed a hat-trick of wins and his first Grade One.

Finally, another huge meeting in International racing this weekend saw the Kentucky Oaks and Derby, where we went on to land both winners at odds of 10/3 and then in the Derby tipping up the 16/1 victor.

TWE Weekend Winners

This weekend saw us in great form, landing three NAPS in a row at odds of 11/8, 7/4 and 5/4 and we are looking to keep that good run going heading into the big meeting of the week at Chester.

On Saturday we were in particularly good form with our 6/1 Win Double Boost also landing, which saw Hotline Bling and Aerion Power both clear away from their fields on the flat.

It was a superb weekend for us when it came to the big races across the few days with the 1000 Guineas being won by Mother Earth for Aidan O'Brien and Frankie Dettori and we tipped it up at 12/1.

Over in America we had a staggering weekend managing to pick out the 16/1 Kentucky Derby winner, alongside the third placed finisher at 9/1.

In the Kentucky Oaks we also located the winner at a working mans price of 10/3 to round off what was a spectacular few days of winners for us.
