Today we are looking back at last year's renewal of the Grade One Hatton's Grace Hurdle with the superstar Honeysuckle this season looking to make it a hat-trick of wins in the event.
Trying to match the superstar Apple's Jade who did manage to win the race three times in a row, last year the Henry De Bromhead trained mare just managed to get up close home.
Having romped home in the contest the season before, the 2020 renewal of the race was very different with three horses all bidding for glory at the line.
Lacking race fitness, Honeysuckle was joined by Ronald Pump and Beacon Edge close home but did enough to go on and win by 1/2 a length.
Off the back of that she raced three more times last season, bolting up in the Irish Champion Hurdle, Cheltenham festival Champion Hurdle and Punchestown Champion Hurdle.
