It is now four weeks until the Cheltenham festival and in apprehension for the Cheltenham roar we are taking a look back to one of the best Supreme Novices' Hurdle seen this century.

Back in 2016, the first race of the Cheltenham festival saw 14 runners go to post and it was a star studded line up that saw the likes of Altior, Min, Buveur D'Air, Petit Mouchoir and Supasundae all go to post.

Min was the 15/8 favourite on the day with Altior back in second favourite at 4/1 and what a price that looks to be knowing what we know now about the horse.

Altior turned the bend and jumped the last pulling clear of the field, going on to take the event by seven lengths from the Willie Mullins trained fav, with Buveur D'Air back in third.
