Today we are looking back at the 2018 renewal of the Group One St Leger with it being the last time that Aidan O'Brien landed the event with Kew Gardens.
The retired Group One winner had an illustrious career landing this event but had also taken events like the Long Distance Cup, Queen's Vase and Grand Prix de Paris.
However, his win in this event was one of the best of his career managing to see off the likes of Lah Ti Dar, Dee Ex Bee and Old Persian.
Now retired, the son of Galileo has been sent off to stud and we will be seeing some of his offsprings in the near future, with those horses set to be serious stayers.
For now we are looking back at Kew Gardens win in the St Leger.
