Three Standout Performances - 01/11/2018

13:20 - Outcrop

OUTCROP ran out an impressive winner of the Injured Jockeys Fund Handicap Hurdle in the curtain raiser at Sedgefield. Held up by Sean Quinlan, he began to make headway three flights from the finish. He then blundered badly 2 out, but soon got to the lead, and was in command from there-on-in. Drop in grade proved decisive.

14:40 - Dontdooddson

DONTDOODDSON ended a run of three easy favourites winning at Clonmel, when snatching the Sky Sports Racing Launching In 2019 Handicap Hurdle away from another shorty - Eight and Bob. Racing in mid division, he improved to chase leader from as early as the third flight, went second halfway, before leading four out. Jordan Canavan got to work on his mount and fended on the challengers off well on the run-in. Another penalty sadly coming his way.

15:05 - Dramatic Queen

After winning at Kempton last night, DRAMATIC QUEEN was back to spook out her opponents 24-hours later, in today's feature at Lingfield - the EBF River Eden Fillies' Stakes. She held strong form claims prior to yesterday anyway, with a third in a 1m4f Listed race at Newmarket back in July. The 3yo has put that to good use in both her wins, winning by a length this afternoon against Luca Cumani-trained Alwaysndforever. Good 24 hours for connections.
