The first runner for your trackers on Saturday comes from the first race of the day at The Curragh which sees a seven furlong Maiden.

The horse in question is the Aidan O'Brien trained Shark Bay, who looks to be the pick of the runners left in by the master trainer and having already had a run is bound to come on a fair bit.

The son of Australia was seen at the back end of June finishing a narrow third in a photo-finish over course and distance.

O'Brien's horses are always better next time out after a run and with the field lacking depth he could well be a classy two year old.

Sweet Enough for John Gosden looks a horse going places, especially when thrown into handicap company, but being thrown into another Novices event on Saturday shows how much they want to get a win into her.

The three year old daughter of Lope De Vega cost 500,000gns as a foal and has been seen three times to date, once as a juvenile in a big 19 runner Novice Stakes where she ran credibly.

Saved for this term she has been seen twice, starting at Lingfield in June when looking to need the run, but she improved massively last time out in a nice 16 runner event to narrowly finish second.

This race presents a big opportunity for her to get off the mark.

The final runner of the afternoon that is worth following at the weekend comes in the Fillies' Novice Stakes over 1m2f and a horse with bags of potential is the John & Thady Gosden trained Flaunt.

The daughter of Frankel runs in the same silks as Crystal Ocean and Stradivarius and has a superb pedigree being closely related to the smart Lillie Langtry.

Flaunt has only been seen once to date and her run came at Chelmsford over 1m2f and she finished a smart third behind two nice types, with the second since winning.

She will have learnt a bundle for that experience and it is well known that Gosden's horses come on a heap for their first efforts.
