The first horse to add to your tracker ahead of this weekends racing is the Godolphin owned Before Dawn who looks set to make her handicap debut, having shown clear ability in Novice events to date.

The daughter of Dark Angel has been seen three times this season, making her debut in May at Newmarket when a bright second behind the smart Cachet for George Boughey.

She then went to Kempton on the all weather where she finished a close up fourth behind some smart types and off the back off that improved for the experience to finish second at the same track over an extra furlong.

Making her handicap debut off a mark of 80 makes her an attractive proposition with her bred to be better than that and it seems as though the step up to 7f bought her on a fair bit.

One to watch.

Bath show off a Restricted Maiden on Saturday in their second race of the day and Macon Belle for Ed De Giles looks a big improver.

The two year old filly has only been seen once to date over the same course and distance when a smart second behind a smart, improving type for Kevin Philippart De Foy.

Having similar conditions at the same track gives her a slight edge on the field and off the back of her first run she is sure to come on for it.

The final horse to follow across the weekend comes in the last race of the day at Newmarket with Degree for Sir Michael Stoute a very interesting runner on handicap debut.

The Cheveley Park Stud owned three year old was seen once as a juvenile finishing third in a decent Fillies' Novice event on the all weather.

Saved for this season the filly got off the mark at Wolves on her seasonal debut and she was last seen finishing a close third under a penalty at Lingfield.

The fifth from that race has since gone on to frank the form by winning twice in decent company and now making her handicap debut off a mark of 81 she must be feared.
