The first selection of the day comes from Naas in the Group Three Athasi Stakes over seven furlongs and the Aidan O'Brien trained So Wonderful looks the class act in the race.

So Wonderful had to wait along time for a win during her career, placing in Group Three and Group One company and finally in August landed her first event in a 18 runner maiden at The Curragh

She kicked on for that win and backed it up at Killarney in a Listed Event and was not disgraced when stepped back up to Group One company on Irish Champions Weekend.

Dropping back to a Group Three can see her back to winning ways and she looks the class act in the race.

Cork host one of the best cards on the Sunday and the Listed Novice Hurdle sees some smart newcomers head to post and Gordon Elliott fields Ragnar Lodbrok.

After a superb few days at Down Royal the trainer will be looking to end the weekend with a flourish and off the back of this five year olds debut, he can be confident.

The son of Fame And Glory rain to a good standard in bumpers finishing behind the Champion Bumper winner in third on his first ever start.

He backed that form up on hurdles debut at Galway in October when a decent winner of an 18 runner maiden and he should come on for that run.

The biggest race of the day over the jumps in England is the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase that last year was won by the Gold Cup third Lostintranslation.

The Tom George trained Black Op is lightly raced for his age and having been a smart hurdler, has also showed signs that he could be smart over fences.

The son of Sandmason managed to land the Grade One Mersey Hurdle in 2018 after finishing a good second to Samcro in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham festival.

Over fences he has taken some time to get going, but got off the mark last October at Stratford and since then placed twice behind the likeable Champ and Slate House in Grade One and Two events.

Although slightly older than this field he holds bundles of potential and should be in the mix.

One of the feature races on the Cork card is the Grade Three Novice Chase and Polished Steel for Jessica Harrington makes big appeal at the prices.

Paul Townsend takes the ride which is an exciting jockey booking and off the back of what this horse has done over fences this term he looks slightly overpriced.

The six year old has ran four times winning and placing in two events and three starts ago got off the mark for the season when winning at Galway in a Grade Three.

He ran another cracker at Punchestown last time out when second behind the smart Zarkareva in another Grade Three event and he looks a nice prospect.

The final selection from the big races on Sunday is the 3 mile 4 furlongs Cork Grand National Handicap Chase and in this big fielded event we like the lightly weighted Tokyo Getaway.

Gavin Cromwell is an extremely shrewd trainer and looks to have a very versatile horse in this event that is getting weight all round.

This year the horse has ran four times switching between hurdles and fences and winning two events and placing in one of them.

Last time out he finished a nice third of 14 in a handicap hurdle at Limerick and that looks a perfect prep run for this event.
