The 6 year old lines up off the back of a win at Newcastle last time out and isn't unfairly treated with a 4lbs rise in the weights, especially when returning to a venue that suits him well.
He will need the pace to be strong in front in this small field, but if Pat Cosgrave on Captain Parmer decides to make it a test from the front, it could tee up nicely for Novak.
