ITV Racing Tips for Today - Sunday 26th April

The ITV racing cameras are live from both Nottingham and Musselburgh on Sunday 26th April, with eleven live races to pick through. A mix of competitive handicap action on the flat from both courses, we've taken a deeper look at all the live races and picked out our tips and fancies for the afternoon.

Dwindling Funds 4/1

Ran well when upped in grade and trip at this venue when last seen, seemingly not quite lasting home over the extra furlong. Retains the same mark for that effort here and drops back in level. Well enough treated at the weights and in form.

Bold Return 10/1

Shaped well over 5 furlongs in a handicap as a juvenile last season to be a close 2nd at a big price on her last run of the campaign. Returned at Southwell last month looking like she needed the run and fading into 4th late on. Tackles this new trip now that looks like it’ll suit and a mark of 57 leaves her looking nicely handicapped. Can build upon the promise she showed at the end of last season.

Seed Ya Later 9/4

Debuted in a solid effort over 5 furlongs at Bath 10 days ago, only being beaten narrowly into 2nd and finishing well clear of the 3rd. With a run under her belt she has experience on her side here she can go one better than debut.

Nad Alishiba Green 2/1

Put in a great effort on return to be 2nd to Layla Liz at Wolverhampton, gets pull in the weights with that rival now and returns to a course where she’s won before. Will appreciate this straight 5 furlongs and will come on for the run last time out.

Glorious Kitty 4/1

Put in some good performances on the all-weather back in the Autumn and returned to action off a short break back on the turf at Beverley with a 2nd placed effort over a shorter trip. Shuffled back up slightly in trip now and only raised 1lbs in the weights for her recent run she looks a winner in waiting.

See The Fire 2/5

Group Two winner at York last season and drops into this listed race unpenalised and 14lbs clear in the ratings of her next rival. Doesn’t represent much value at the price but gets her conditions and is a class above her rivals here, can make it a winning return.

Fast Fred 4/1

Went close on seasonal comeback at Newcastle and won well when last seen over C+D, looking to get away lightly enough with a 4lbs rise in the weights. Still looks well treated and stays well, can dig in from off the pace to make it a brace of C+D wins.

Just An Hour 4/1

His career best effort came over this trip in October of last year and he’s since run to a consistent level over shorter trips. Gets nudged back up to 14 furlongs now and lines up 2lbs lower in the weights than for his last effort over this distance. Unexposed in this sphere and nicely handicapped.

Benacre 7/1

Scored off 1lbs lower on the all weather in February and returned to form on turf with a close 3rd over C+D last time out. Only beaten half a length and only raised 1lbs in the weights, he’s still well treated and can put in another big effort.

Alther Walden 6/4

Got off the mark at the third time of asking over 12 furlongs at Catterick in emphatic style, winning by 14 lengths in good style in a small field. Backed that effort up on handicap debut to defy an opening mark of 80. Steps up in trip now and still looks well handicapped off a mark of 86. Can find more improvement over this new trip.

Mon Na Slieve 7/1

Lines up here only 2lbs higher in the weights than for his last win and has a course and distance win in the books already. Comes here off the back of a close 2nd at Newcastle with the winner going close again since. Looks too well treated off a mark of 81 to ignore back on turf.
