One of our best bets on Saturday comes in the Class 4 Handicap over a mile at Lingfield and the Martyn Meade trained Crackling will be tough to beat.

The five year old son of Vale Of York has been seen only three times in his career and for his age is very unexposed, also holding plenty of ability.

He made his debut back in 2018 over seven furlongs at Lingfield and handled the track well to get off to a winning start.

After suffering some injury problems his next run came in November 2020 and he ran over seven furlongs at Kempton and blew away the cobwebs with a solid fourth.

Last time out he was sent to Southwell and backed up his seasonal debut with a solid second over a mile to Daafr, who is a horse that is in red hot form of late on the fibresand.

The step up to a mile last time out saw him improve and it bought the best out of him and now returning to the track of his sole win makes him the one to beat if improving again.

Our second pick from our three to follow on Saturday comes in the Class 5 event over 1m2f and at a big price Aztec Dreams for trainer Richard Rowe can out run his odds.

The eight year old was a dual winner in France, who this season has been moved over to England and looked to have plenty of potential on his debut run.

He finished fifth of 10 runners over course and distance at Lingfield and looks to be on a very dangerous mark if coming on for that run.

Big each way player at 12/1.

The final selection from our three to follow on Saturday comes from Wolverhampton in the Class 2 Betway Handicap over five furlongs and Tone The Barone for Stuart Williams looks a huge player.

Williams over the last fortnight has not been shy of turning out winners currently running at a strike rate of 17.65% after landing three races from 17 of his horses.

The five year old has a superb record on the all weather landing all four of his events and he still looks to have improvement in him.

The gelding heads into this event seeking a hat-trick having scored at Ascot in September over this trip before backing that up in January over 5f at Chelmsford.

Although this event is full of strong sprinting talent this gelding is getting weight off most of the field and with classy 3lb claimer Marco Ghiani on board he will be tough to beat.
