The favourite for the Fillies Classic is the 1000 Guineas winner Love who gave a stand out performance on her three year old debut when breezing clear of a decent field at Newmarket.

The three year old, before that, was a smart juvenile winning the Group One Moyglare Stakes over seven furlongs and then finishing a bold third in the Fillies' Mile at Newmarket.

She has some of the best Group One form on offer but it comes over a mile and there is a big question mark that she will be just as good over a mile and a half.

Huge chance if staying the trip.

The daughter of Frankel made her reappearance as a three year old at Newcastle and romped to victory when stepping up in trip to 1 mile 2 furlongs.

This set her up perfectly for a crack at the Group Two Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot and again it was a procession, with her being stretched out to win cosily.

Off the back of what she has done so far this term she is the second favourite for the contest, just behind Love but maybe she is slightly over-priced with her being proven at the trip

She has shown clear speed and also staying ability in the latter stages of her races that is unproven in the favourite and for that reason looks a good bet.

The second of the O'Brien runners looks to have a great chance with the filly having three runs to date and on both her starts as a three year old showing clear signs of progression.

The daughter of Galileo was nothing special in her sole run as a juvenile but since returning this term she got off the mark in a maiden at Leopardstown and then finished a staying on second behind Frankly Darling in the Ribblesdale Stakes at the royal meeting.

1 mile 4 furlongs seems to be her bag and at an each way price she looks an attractive bet to see her in the placings but to go better she needs to reverse the form with Frankly Darling which looks tough.

Roger Varian fields two runner in this year's Oaks and Gold Wand looks an exciting prospect having shown bundles of ability on both her starts, but she may not be as good as some in the field.

The three year old made her racecourse debut at Doncaster in October when finishing second of 15 runners in a decent maiden with the winner being a smart recruit for William Haggas.

On her seasonal return this season she got off the mark in good style winning over 1 mile 2 furlongs at Newbury and now stepping up in trip should go well again.

Passion has a lot to find in this field and her price of 16/1 suggests that having finished a long way back third behind Frankly Darling and Ennistymon at Ascot.

She cost 800,000gns as a yearling being a very well bred daughter of Galileo but with only one win in her five starts and now going into her first Group One contests, she will have to had improved massively to be involved.

She looks the possible pass setter for the other O'Brien runners.

The second of the Varian runners is Queen Daenerys who is set to be ridden by William Buick which is an interesting jockey booking.

The three year old daughter of Frankel cost $500,000 as a yearling and has shown clear signs that she is a smart filly with decent runs on all four of her starts.

She finished second on debut as a two year old and backed that up by getting off the mark at Newmarket over a mile.

She was stepped up to black type company for the first time and finished sixth of nine in the Fillies' Mile but only two lengths behind the winners.

Back for another season and Queen Daenerys was a good second behind Run Wild in the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes and she should improve from that run and could sneak into the palcings.

John Gosden's second string in the race might turn out to be a nice horse in lesser company but looks very opposable off the back of her two runs to date.

Tiempo Vuela started her career over a mile at Newcastle and won in good style but on her first run as a three year old she completely flopped finishing seventh of eight runners.

That came in the listed Pretty Polly Stakes and she will have to had improved massively to get involved here.

The final runner of the Group One is Bharani Star who is the 50/1 outsider of the field but could be slightly overpriced finishing fourth in the Ribblesdale at Ascot.

Before that she got off the mark for the first time at Haydock in a Class 5 but she did not disgrace herself stepping up to Group company and should run well at a big price if improving again.
