Coolmore's Breeding Roster Released For 2019

Coolmore, Who year after year never fail to disappoint with the horses they produce and this year especially with plenty of outstanding two year olds that have come through the ranks to win the big Group 1s for there age division of the year.

One of the stand out performers of the year for the Breeding group is No Nay Never who as a racehorse won the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group 1 Prix Morny in France and has since gone on this year to produce some excellent youngsters into the flat racing scene.

He is the Sire to top Ballydoyle two year old horses this year like Land Force, who won the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, Ten Sovereigns who won the Juddmonte Middle Park Stakes and Irish Rover to name a few.

From this he has been rewarded for his Stud performances and has now had his price quadrupled to €100,000 at Coolmore in 2019. This increase in price for the Sire is one of many noticeable changes to happen at the yard along with five new faces entering the camp for next year.

These new horse are:

Saxon Warrior - He won the Racing Post Trophy as a two year old and then this season took the Group 1, 2,000 Guineas. He is the most expensive of the new additions standing at €30,000,

Champion two-year-old and July Cup winner US Navy Flag, by War Front, is Startuing in 2019 at €25,000.

Both are out of Phenomenal daughters of Coolmore's outstanding Stud Galileo who still stands at a private fee and he has now been a Sire to over 75 Group 1 winners, which is remarkable.

Galileo's Group 2 winning and multiple Group 1 placed son Gustav Klimt has been retired to stand alongside his sire in Ireland for €7,500, while Sioux Nation, the son of Scat Daddy another well know Coolmore Sire, who landed the Phoenix Stakes and Norfolk Stakes, has been assigned an introductory price of €12,500.

The final new addition is Merchant Navy, who won the at Royal Ascot this year in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes. The son of Fastnet Rock will stand at €20,000 for his first year. Fastnet Rock himself remains at €70,000 next year.

Camelot who is currently top of the table for the second season Sire's list after having three Group 1 winners including Irish Derby winner Latrobe has had an increase in price by €10,000 to €40,000 overall.
