An action-packed final day of the Cheltenham Festival concludes the memorable four-day meeting, with the card on Friday headlined by the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Find some of the standout bets to utilise your welcome offer below.
Minella Study (Triumph Hurdle)
A slightly weaker renewal of the Grade One Triumph Hurdle than usual kicks off the Friday card, and there could be rare British success in the form of Minella Study for trainer Adam Nicol.
The four-year-old was an excellent course and distance winner at the December meeting, beating the progressive Winston Junior by six lengths.
That victory took his record over hurdles to 3-3, also beating the highly-regarded Ammes at Wetherby. The drying ground will be a major positive.
Spindleberry (Mares’ Chase)
The Irish have dominated the Mares’ Chase since its introduction to the Festival schedule, and it could pay to forgive Spindleberry’s effort when stepped up in grade in last month’s Irish Gold Cup.
Was incredibly progressive before that setback, winning on five straight starts over fences, including a straightforward win over an extended two miles and four at Doncaster, beating Telepathique by six lengths.
Paul Townend is back aboard the eight-year-old, who has little to find on official ratings with stablemate Dinoblue.
The Jukebox Man (Gold Cup)
There hasn’t been a British-trained winner of the Gold Cup since Native River in 2018, but The Jukebox Man’s fairytale for owner Harry Redknapp could have a happy ending.
The progressive chaser is unbeaten over fences for a Ben Pauling yard, which has already been among the winners this week.
He holds leading form claims after beating Gaelic Warrior and Jango Baie in the King George on Boxing Day. Appears to handle Cheltenham based on his second in the Albert Bartlett in 2024 when getting to the front too soon.
