Three To Follow From Dundalk On Friday

17:45 - Strong Johnson

The first fancy from Dundalk on Friday evening comes in the five furlong sprint contest and Strong Johnson for trainer Kieran Cotter.

The three year old gelding has turned his career around in his last few runs starting his career off in big fielded maidens and being way off the pace.

However, in his latest four runs he has placed in all four of his races winning one of them which offers some smart form heading into the contest.

Last time out he was a bright second in heavy ground at Naas in a big fielded handicap and now having his all weather debut off a nice mark he should be in the frame.

18:15 - Grandmaster Flash

The second and strongest fancy on the card for us comes in the 1 mile 4 furlong maiden and Grandmaster Flash for Joseph O'Brien looks the one to beat.

The three year old colt is one of the most exposed runners on the flat in this race but also offers the strongest form heading into the contest with two smart seconds in a row.

Two starts ago he raced over course and distance finishing narrowly in behind a nice Jessica Harrington trained runner and then tried his hand in England at Kempton and again finished in behind a nice runner for John Gosden.

He looks a classy entry in this one that should give another good account of himself.

19:15 - Bellepower

Bellepower in Div II Handicap is our final selection of the meeting and this John James Feane trained filly looks a big improver for the yard.

This three year old has two seconds in his last four races and her last race is the reason we fancy her for this contest being just behind Rockview Roman over course and distance.

Bellepower is now on the same mark for her run on Friday and the horse that beat her has gone up six pounds which we think will see her reverse the form.
