14:15 - Paseo

The first race of the day at Kempton's first jump meeting of the season is the Class 3 Juvenile Hurdle over two miles and we have sided with Paeso.

Oliver Sherwood's three year old made his first start over hurdles at Huntingdon at the start of the month and was an impressive third showing clear ability.

He stayed on well from a difficult position that day which makes him very interesting in the same conditions as his previous run and although stepping up in class he should go well.

14:45 - Oleg

The Class 4 Novices Handicap Chase over 2 miles 2 furlongs looks a hot contest with some progressive youngsters and Oleg for Paul Nicholls looks a huge improver.

Last season he took to hurdling really well coming over form the flat and finished second twice in some nice events and also got off the mark in good to soft conditions.

He opened his chasing account on debut at Wincanton 10 days ago and being a versatile horse when it comes to the ground we are expecting another huge run.

15:20 - Pacify

Pacify for Jamie Snowden looks the stand out selection in this Listed Novices Hurdle event over two miles with the seven year old unbeaten over obstacles.

He was a useful horse on the flat but when coming over to hurdles during the summer he has taken to it like a breath of fresh air not being beaten.

He has scored on four consecutive occasions on differing ground but good ground looks to be his most favourable and has no excuses stepping up in class.

15:50 - Tidal Watch

Jonjo O'Neill has had a great start to the season especially when linking up with his son landing some credible winners throughout the summer and they have Tidal Watch in the Class 3 Handicap Chase.

This five year old is a dual hurdles winner who is still very unexposed over fences but has recently started to get to grips with the bigger obstacles.

During the end of last season he scored twice at Kempton on good ground over two miles now only going up two furlongs if he tackles the bigger fences well has a clear chance.

16:25 - Silver Streak

The feature race of the day sees the Matchbook VIP Listed Hurdle over two miles and this race shows off some of last seasons hurdling big guns.

The Evan Williams trained Silver Streak returns for another season over flights after proving how much ability he holds last season when finishing a superb third in the Cheltenham Champion Hurdle.

He faces some tough runners in this contest with the third in the Supreme Novices Hurdle and a Grade Two winning hurdler but Silver Streak poses the best form in the race and if going well fresh should start his campaign off in style.
