Trainer To Follow - John & Thady Gosden

The Gosden's send some decent runners to Newmarket on Friday and that makes the training partnership a yard to get behind.

The teams big chance of the afternoon is their star filly Commissioning who has been heavily backed into odds on and looks to have the stand out chance of landing her first Group One.

In the second division of the Maiden the Gosden's field Roadway who makes her debut in this event and costing €300,000 having a lovely pedigree she could be a player.

In the final event of the afternoon of the afternoon Shaara is the favourite for the Group Three event chasing a four timer and at a slightly bigger price Darmoiselle for top connections is not ruled out of things.

Having had six winners from their last 40 runners the yard is currently running at a 15% strike rate.

Jockey To Follow - Jim Crowley

Jim Crowley is winding up his season for his last mount on the superstar Baaeed on British Champions Day, but before that has some nice rides across the two day Cesarewitch at Newmarket.

The first event of the afternoon he has a ride in is the 7f Maiden and he jumps on the favourite Mubhijah for trainer Roger Varian who holds the leading form in the race having been knocking on the door of late.

In the second division of the Maiden he again rides for Shadwell Estate on Tamaluk who was a good fifth last time out and having his second start should improve.

In the final event of the afternoon Shaara is looking to land a four timer and has a big chance at the way she is progressing.

Crowley heads into the meeting sporting a strike rate of 26% for the last two weeks managing to land six winners from his last 23 rides.
