Trainer John Butler on Wednesday is looking to have a winner on the all weather at Newcastle, sending just one runner to the Northumberland based track on the day, which sees the handler make a 488 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not be coming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
Butler sends Toofi to Newcastle on Wednesday and the 10 year old looks to have a big chance off the back of the record his handler has when bringing runners this far.
Toofi does not have much form in his book overall, not winning since his third start as a two year old back in September 2013, but has placed in some similar events since.
However, John Butler has a 16% strike rate when bringing his horses to race this far, having had 14 winners from 86 runners.
