Looks the most adequate to serve it up to Gold Cup favourite Presenting Percy, and although he only has a couple of chasing wins to his name, they have all come in top class fields.

A usual hurdler, he was a proud winner of the Flogas Novice Chase twelve months ago before finishing seven lengths down to Percy in the RSA.

Has had a few traffic related issues since then, and was last sighted being touched off in the Savills Chase over Christmas.

Solid form accumulated, and in with every chance of reversing previous outcomes.

Last year's Gold Cup third has only been seen once this season, and that was a never-nearer sixth in the Grade Two Kerry Group Hilly Way Chase - arguably used to boost his fitness.

Also ran a cracker in the Grand National behind Tiger Roll - completing an Irish 1-2-3-4, and stamina looks one of his most valuable assets.

Good chances, but another run may be required to be back to his full best.

Returned from a lengthy absence round about this time last year, to score in an average hurdle contest to get the legs back functioning.

Fell when leading at the last in the Irish Gold Cup twelve months ago - won by Edwulf, before finding the Cheltenham equivalent all too much.

Couple of steady efforts this term, and was not too far behind Presenting Percy over hurdles three weeks ago.

Needs more on return to fences.
