The final race on the first day is the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf where Charlie Appleby and Godolphin look to make it back to back victories following last year's success with Modern Games.

The US runners don't set a high standard and Victoria Road is barely Aidan O'Brien's top juvenile so this looks set up for Silver Knott who got the better of a decent field in the Autumn Stakes.

Despite his pedigree, he looks at home on quicker ground, and the cruising speed he showed at Sandown should enable Buick to get into a handy position from stall 4.

Trainer To Follow - Charlie Appleby

Charlie Appleby has sent a strong team to Keeneland across both days but on the Friday he has two big chances that could see him in the winners enclosure.

In the Grade 1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Mischief Magic has been a prolific winner this term and with a decent fourth last time out in the G1 Middle Park Stakes, he can build on that from stall 5.

Appleby's other big chance on the afternoon is the hot for the favourite Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf with Silver Knott looking to back up his Autumn Stakes victory.

The Newmarket handler heads into the event sporting a 40% strike rate for the last two weeks, managing to land 10 winners from his last 25 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Irad Ortiz Jr

Irad Ortiz Jr is one of the leading riders in America and on the Friday at Keeneland has a superb book of rides that should see him add to his Breeders' Cup tally.

In the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint Love Reigns for Wesley Ward has won two of his three events to date and could be a big contender.

Ortiz Jr in the Juvenile Fillies event rides the favourite Chocolate Gelato who is seeking a hat-trick and then in the Juvenile Fillies Turf, Pleasant Passage heads into the event unbeaten.

Another big ride for the rider is Forte who has three wins from four and having won over course and distance in a G1 last time out he is a big player.

One of his bigger priced shouts on the afternoon is Major Dude who shout out run his odds having been a nice winner last time out.
