18:15 - Evasive Power 8/1

The first selection from us at Dundalk tonight comes in the seven furlong handicap and Evasive Power for Denis Hogan at 8/1 looks a lovely each way contender.

The three year old gelding takes to the all weather better than the turf and last time out at Wolverhampton he finished a smart second and if building from that can give another bold showing.

He is stepping up in trip which from his last run should suit him even more and on a workable mark another big run is in the offing.

19:15 - Royal Admiral14/1

The Apprentice Handicap over 1 mile 4 furlongs looks a tricky affair but the Adrian McGuinness trained Royal Admiral looks to have the potential to go well.

This five year old got off the mark for the first time in four runs last time out at Laytown and although going up six pounds for that looks back to his best.

He has a four pound claimer on today that means that he has only gone up two pounds overall and he has previous at running well at this track.

19:45 - Yuften 14/1

The final selection of the evening from Ireland comes again through trainer Denis Hogan who fields Yuften back in a handicap and would not be a surprise to see the gelding outrun his odds.

The eight year old is one of the most experienced horses in the field and in his last six he has placed four times winning one of them

He has a decent record at this track landing a hat-trick at the course at the start of the year and now way below that handicap mark he holds a strong chance.

He also heads into this contest off the back of a credible second at Dundalk over course and distance in a very similar event.
