19:45 - Defilade

We have three fancies at the back end of the meeting a Dundalk on Friday and we start in the Maiden contest with the Ger Lyons trained Defilade.

This three year old colt has only raced twice in his career and only once this year when a good second at Gowran Park on soft ground.

He can use that experience on his all weather debut as he goes for a top yard, trainer and connections and should be fresher than most these horses having not raced since May.

20:15 - For Your Eyes

Jessica Harrington fields For Your Eyes in the penultimate race of the evening in the Div II Handicap and this three year old filly looks progressive.

Last time out over course and distance she finished a smart second and in the class she has a big chance to go one further only 2lb higher.

Last time out was her all weather debut and it seems to have had the desired effect with her giving her best performance to date.

20:45 - Cache Queen

The final selection from Dundalk for us comes in the Div II Handicap and Cache Queen for Adrian McGuinness looks nicely weighted to have a big day here.

The four year old filly has Colin Keane on board who is going in search of the Irish Jockeys title so is a great booking for the yard but with that she holds leading credentials.

In her last two outings both over course and distance at Dundalk she has finished first and then when bumper up in the weights still finished a smart third.

Only 1lb higher this time around she should still be very progressive and give another good account of herself.
