Oisin Murphy has been one of the stand out performers of the year and at the age of 23 has done things that some jockeys won't have ever done in there career.
This season has been his best to date, riding for numerous different trainers whilst also still being the retained rider for Qatar Racing limited who have gave hime some beautiful horses to ride and gave him four Group 1s this season.
The Irishman is due to ride his 1,000th ride of the season the most he has ever done in a season and with more rides comes more winners and that has seen him pick up the most wins in a single season.
Murphy has always been the second string in the jockeys championship this season and is currently 37 wins behind last years champion Silvestre De Sousa.
It looks like he is not going to be able to claw back that deficit but regardless of that he has had a remarkable season and is currently one of the best jockeys in the world.
