One of the races of the afternoon at Town Moore is the Group Two Park Stakes over 7f at Doncaster and Spycatcher could be very tough to beat.

A smart horse during his career racing consistently for the most part in good races between 6-7f, but this season seems to have taken his form to a new level.

Starting this term off at Thirsk on soft ground over 7f in a Conditions Stakes when bolting up by close to four lengths from the talented Mount Athos.

He then went to Ascot in the Victoria Cup again over 7f on soft ground and off a big weight ran a cracker to finish fourth of 22 runners.Upped in grade at Newcastle next time out when back down to 6f in the Group Three Chipchase Stakes he went down by a neck to the smart Tiber Flow.

Sent over to France he got back to winning ways on soft ground again in the Group Three Prix de Ris-Orangis when bolting up by three lengths and then over 1/2 a furlong further at the same track at Deauville put up a career best to be beaten a short head in the Group One Prix Maurice De Gheest.

He gets his ideal soft ground on Saturday and dropping from a good Group One into a weak Group Two, he takes all the beating.

Trainer To Follow - Richard Hannon

Richard Hannon is a trainer in exceptional form of late running at a 25% strike rate for the last two weeks managing to land 14 winners from his last 57 runners.

He starts the card at Doncaster on Saturday with a hot favourite in the Group Two Champagne Stakes with Rosallion looking to make it a hat-trick of wins and stay unbeaten.

In the Portland Handicap Hannon has a live chance with Happy Romance who effectively races off a mark of 97 having been a Group winner during her career and also at the end of the mark The Big Board will be looking to bounce back to form.

Hannon then runs Stratocracy in the Maiden Stakes having been seen twice already to date and if building on those experiences could go close.

Jockey To Follow - Clifford Lee

Clifford Lee has a few nice rides across the card at Doncaster on Saturday and having already notched a winner on the first day of the meeting with Darnation, he can add to that on Saturday.

His best ride of the afternoon comes in the Group Two Park Stakes with Spycatcher dropping into a weak Group Two having been beaten in a good Group One last time out in France by a short head.

Other runners of interest for the jockey on the card are Lightening Company off bottom weight in the Class 2 1m2f Handicap, debutant Otto Flash in the Maiden Stakes and Liberty Lane in the Finale who will enjoy any rain that falls.
