The Class 3 Handicap over a mile looks highly competitive and the William Knight trained Chartwell House has been very consistent of late.

Starting the season off at Newmarket over 7f when a good third of 17 in a strong handicap off a mark of 82, he then went back over the same C&D and did not handles the soft ground.

Back on good ground for his third run over the same trip and track, he finished a good fourth behind the likes of Havana Blue, Striking Star and Signcastle City.

Sent to haydock in June off the same mark of 82 he got off the mark for the season when bolting up in a Class 4 Handicap by four lengths from next time out winner Royal Charter.

Up to a mark of 91 he showed the handicapper has still not got him in his grasp, he finished a good second to the smart Ramazan, who last week was a smart winner at Chepstow in the Racing League in a better race than this.

Running off 1lb higher here, Chartwell House has some leading form claims and dropping into a CLass 3 having been running well in Class 2's, he should go well.

Team To Follow - Team East

Team East currently sit in fifth heading into the third week of the 2023 Racing League, but could see themselves a lot higher at the end of the night with chances up and down the card.

In the first event of the evening they only field one runner in the Nursery Handicap with Kinnigoli Kid making his handicap debut over a course and distance he has already won over.

Next up Team East field Expert Agent and Bear Profit with the former looking the best of the teams chances having bought up a hat-trick at the start of the season and needing to get back to that now.

In the Class 4 Handicap over 5f they hold two decent chances with Clipsham La Habana and Holkham Bay both having some smart form this season and they might be underestimated in the betting.

Just the one runner in the Class 4 mile Handicap with Red Treasure and then in the Class 3 Handicap over a mile Chartwell House is the market leader for the event and holds a leading chance, but also in the race they have the outsider Power Of Darkness.

Coming towards the end of the evening, Team East hold chances with Wynter Wildes and Tuxedo Junction in the penultimate event and then in the finally they have the first and second favourite in the Class 2 Handicap over 1m2f.

Tiffany for Sir Mark Prescott and Racing League winner already Cumulonimbus look Team East's best chances of the evening.
