The now 11 year old secured the greatest victory of his career in this race when going on to beat Rock The Kasbah by 13 lengths.
The gelding has picked up some nice races throughout his career, but this was the biggest scalp of them all and for the shrewd trainer Mark Bradstock, who trained Gold Cup winner Coneygree.
Towards the back end of his career the son of Indian River has maintained hi class by winning two of his last three races including a veterans handicap.
He is a horse that had a lot of promise and tried his hand in the 2019 Grand National but he was ultimately pulled up.
