Royal Ascot Queen Anne Stakes Selection

Queen Anne Stakes - Fox Chairman 7/1

The first race of the Prestigious Royal Ascot meeting is the Group One Queen Anne Stakes over a mile and for a race that always sets up a great five days of racing we are looking to get one over on the bookies.

Fox Chairman is a four year old son of leading sire Kingman that has not done a lot wrong in his four small race career and we believe he can go to a new level this term.

Trained by Andrew Balding, who is currently the man who can do no wrong having landed the 2000 Guineas with Kameko last Saturday and has also had 10 winners from 43 runners since the resumption of racing, which has seen him gain a 23.26% strike rate.

The King Power Racing owned colt has placed in all four of his events to date, winning on debut and last time out in a Listed event at Newbury.

Although he is without a run heading into the festival, he has shown he goes well fresh and with the way the yard is going he looks good each way value in what looks a weak renewal of the Group One.
