Day Four of Glorious Goodwood sees another seven race card shown live on ITV. With the Group Three Thoroughbred Stakes for the 3 year old milers and The Group Two King George Qatar Stakes for the Sprinters. With the rain having fallen hard the going changes to heavy with emphasis on stamina.

Sheradann 15/2
Looks to be one of the few in this field that really wants this marathon test, staying on well over 2 miles here at Goodwood back in June before a never nearer 3rd in the Northumberland Vase last time out.
Only 1lbs higher in the weights than for those placed efforts and shapes as if this 2.5 mile trip will draw out some improvement.
King Of Cities 11/4
The rain fall has seriously impacted this race and left only 4 runners going to post. With Cosmic Year disappointing badly last time out on soft ground it'll be worth taking him on with King Of Cities.
The Richard Hannon colt stays further than a mile and has handled softer conditions well in the past. Ryan Moore can buck out and make this a real test from the front. Should be hard to catch in the conditions.
LATAM 12/1
Goes well in these big field handicaps over a mile and his best form has come on rain softened ground.
Ran a big race on seasonal comeback in the Lincoln at Doncaster last season but failed to fire in the same race this term. Returns off lay off on his prime conditions looking well treated off 95. Can go well if back to his best
Big Mojo 6/1
Connections won this race last year with Big Evs and try their hand with recent 2nd in the July Cup Big Mojo.
Seems to be better over 6 furlongs but won over this track and trip as a juvenile in a group three and might just find the emphasis on stamina now the rain has fell over Goodwood.
Should be going close under Tom Marquand.
Liberty Lane 85/40
Goes well at this venue, winning over 10 furlongs here earlier in the season and shouldn’t find the 2lbs penalty he’s carrying too much of an inconvenience.
Handles soft conditions incredibly well so won’t be phased. By the heavy rainfall the track. Will be hard to beat if running to his usual standard.
