ITV Racing Tips for Today - Saturday 26th December

ITV Racing are live from three courses for Boxing Day's top class racing, featuring three Grade One events from Kempton, the King George, Christmas Hurdle and the Kauto Star and Grade One action from Aintree with the Formby Hurdle and handicap action from Wetherby. We've gone through all the live races and picked out our selections and tips for the afternoon's televised races.

Noble Park 7/4

Has taken to chasing really well winning twice over the bigger obstacles since making the switch to the Nicky Henderson yard. Won by 24 lengths when last seen and the 2nd has since gone in and given the form some substance. Looks like he’ll rate better than 125 and is probably still well treated in this sphere.

Mydaddypaddy 8/15

It looks a relatively weak renewal of the Formby with the Skelton hot favourite eating up the majority of the market and looking to uphold his unbeaten record. Has won well at Carlisle and Haydock so far, travelling powerfully and jumping well. Will need to win this if he’s to have any chance in the Supreme come March.

Salver 11/4

Salver looks a much smarter animal over fences. Running well enough on chasing debut over an inadequate 2 miles behind Lulamba before winning in impressive fashion over 3 miles at Sandown. Holds the strongest piece of staying chase form on paper and should do his best work late on.

Our Power 7/1

Has fallen to an attractive enough mark of this kind of contest against some potentially harshly treated rivals. Konfusion has gone up 10lbs for his Rehearsal Chase win, Marble Sands 5lbs for a win of a poor looking race. Our Power looks favourable treated and gets an interesting 7lbs claimer in the saddle. Can get back in the mix in this small field.

Golden Ace 4/1

She just keeps on winning when it seems least likely and with Sir Gino having his issues and being off the track for a year he’s very opposable at odds on. Golden Ace is the reigning Champion Hurdler who caused shock when winning the Fighting Fifth last time out. Can put her best foot forward again at a speed favouring venue.

Gaelic Warrior 5/2

One of the most versatile horses in training. Gaelic Warrior has won grade ones over fences from 2 miles up to 3 miles and just keeps winning. Outgunned Fact To File in the John Durkan and will relish the 3 mile speed test around Kempton. Looks the one to beat on form.
