ITV Racing Tips for Today - Saturday 20th September

The ITV Racing cameras are live from both Ayr and Newbury on Saturday 20th September for Ayr's Gold Cup day, featuring their two big handicap sprints for the season, The Silver and Gold Cups. Newbury host some listed and Group action on the level and we've gone through all live 8 races on ITV1 for our tips and selections.

Theoryofeverything 10/1

Course and distance winner in July but hasn’t quite hit the same heights since. Finished seventh of 17 in a handicap at Ascot (14/1) 15 days ago, travelling well for much of the way before staying on late.

One to note when he gets back on softer ground which could make him a big player here.

First Instinct 8/1

Made the breakthrough in Listed company at Cork in May before an excellent second in the Group 2 Sandy Lane at Haydock later that month.

Has run to a similar level in Listed/Group contests since, though shaped as if 5f was on the sharp side at Beverley last time.

Almeric 7/4

An impressive horse who notched up two decent wins and will look to carry on that winning run here in the attempt of landing the hat-trick.

Ground conditions look ideal and the one to beat arriving here off the back of a break.

Alfred Boucher 40/1

Not getting any younger but has since switched yards to a top trainer so connections must think there's more for him to give.

Fairly smart handicapper a few years ago and there's a chance he could bounce back to form in an open race.

Trainer Owen Burrows also has an impressive 40% strike rate with horses who return from over a year off the track.

Binhareer 11/2

Has become a consistent horse since going handicapping and looks a big threat to all returning to Ayr where he won over this course and distance in July.

Trainer in rock solid form of late and overall does really well with his horse that run over this C&D.

Dante's Lad 8/1

Was very well backed when a close second on last start and should be hitting the frame once more here with 5lb claimer Jack Callan on board.

Yard in good form and if horse copes with the slight ease in the ground he'll be bang there.

Rogue Attraction 10/1

Was second on debut before winning with absolute ease last time out and looks to be in the right hands with Callum Rodriguez taking the ride yet again, he clearly gets on with her.

This horse is bred superbly well and there is more to come despite going up in Grade here, looks a nice price.

Words Of Truth 5/2

Can put a line through his debut run as was clearly better than that when showing the promise two runs later winning both.

Already beaten fellow rival Watcha Snoop and looks smart, could be tough to beat.

Ain't Nobody 9/1

Down in Class here in what is another open looking Ayr Gold cup and we like the look of this horse, ticks some boxes for each way value.

James Doyle has been booked to ride for the first time and although this horse may be more effective at 5 furlongs, he has ran well over the 6 before.

Should go close for a yard looking to regain some form.
