12:55 - Trincomalee

We start at Warwick in the two mile five furlongs Novices Hurdle over two miles five furlongs and the Lucy Wadham trained Trincomalee is a real eye-catcher.

This seven year old is a highly consistent animal that has not finished worst than third on his two bumper starts and three hurdle contests.

He landed a bumper on this track before his step up to hurdles and since going over timber has shown a good attitude on all different types of grounds which is a bonus tomorrow.

13:30 - Bard Of Brittany

The Class 4 Handicap Hurdle over two miles sees a decent 12 runner field head to post and Bard Of Brittany for the lesser known trainer Sheena West could have a big say.

The six year old has seemed to really knuckle down since getting the added cheek-pieces on his last two runs, completely changing his form line.

He won nicely at Plumpton in January in a Class 5 and then stepped up to a Class 4 on his final outing at Huntingdon on Thursday to finish second behind a very smart hurdler.

14:05 - Nube Negra 7/4

The feature race of the day is the Grade Two Kingmaker Novices Chase over two miles and Nube Negra is the stand out selection of the day for us at Warwick.

The Spanish bred gelding for Dan Skelton was a smart hurdler but has turned into an even better chaser under the Skelton's winning his first two outings with ease.

He stepped into a tougher race last time out at Sandown in the Grade One Henry VIII Novices Chase where he was a good second behind a smart Evan Williams Horse and if on song is the one to beat.

14:40 - Cap Soleil 9/1

The Listed Mares Hurdle over two miles five furlongs is the last of the big races on the Warwick card and Cap Soliel for Fergal O'Brien who has had a fine season so far looks a nice each way price.

The seven year old has struggled on her last two contests but now seems to be on a nice enough mark to get back in the winners enclosure.

Her best bit of form was when staying on well to grab second behind the run away winner of the Grade Two Mares Novices Hurdle Laurina at the Cheltenham festival.

If getting back to that sort of head frame she has a big shout in this one and if the ground was to go good to soft it would give her ideal conditions.

15:50 - Some Detail

The final selection of the afternoon from us is the three mile two furlongs Handicap Hurdle and the top weighted Some Detail looks like he will throw down a huge challenge.

The six year old gelding has been very smart on all of his three runs this season since stepping up to hurdles finishing a smart fourth on his debut at Carlisle before a career best performance over course and distance at Warwick in a maiden.

He certainly gets the trip and was stepped up to further on his last outing and finished a nice third with stamina a huge positive on his side.
