Today we have started a an accumulator that is all based around stats of the horses, jockeys and trainers in different races that really make you pay attention. We have selected four horses all to place but read our explanations of the picks and you will understand there appeal in todays market.
13:30 Catterick - Liquid Lunch To Place
In the five furlong novice event in the first at Catterick we have selected Liquid Lunch for trainer Richard Fahey in our new Stats Accumulator. This two year old has a had a mixed start to racing and is yet to win a race but today could be a perfect opportunity.
The reason we have targeted this race and this runner is Richard Fahey is the only person to win the only previous running of this race and he won't want to lose his title that easily.
He has a strong chance with Liquid Lunch today but with the competitiveness of the race we have gone safe with the youngster to be in the placings, something he has done twice out of his four runs to date.
14:15 Leicester - Scaramanga To Place
The second of our four selections with Sky Bet is from Leicester in their first race of the day and we have gone with the James Fanshawe trained Scaramanga who has a more than fair chance today being a pound lower than his last run.
This three year old has modest form in his four starts to date but the reason we have gone with this runner is the trainer and jockey partnership for the horse is James Fanshawe and the inform Oisin Murphy who have a brilliant 30 percent strike rate when working together and we are hoping that they can add to this today or at least get the horse in the top three.
15:00 Brighton - Machell Place To Place
The penultimate selection in this four fold accumulator is back at Brighton over a mile and the John Gosden trained Machell Place is our horse in this contest.
This horse looks like a bright prospect, not being cheap and running to a decent standard on her three starts. However, the main reason we have gone for her today is recent Arc winning trainer for the third time, John Gosden has only sent three horses to Brighton in the past 12 months and two have gone onto win and the other placing.
This is a brilliant stat and is very hard to overlook in the betting for this race and that is why we have gone for Machell Place to finish in the top three.
15:10 Catterick - Massini's Trap To Places
The final horse in our Stats Accumulator with Sky Bet is in the Class 6 stayers event over 1 mile 7 1/2 furlongs. Massini's Trap is a veteran stayer who has a lot of experience over this distance and in these types of races.
The reason we have picked this horse today is he is not in bad form winning his last race quite comfortably but his trainer J A Nash has only sent four horses to Catterick in 12 months and one has won with the other two placing, meaning his strike rate here at the moment is admirable.
This Irish raider has also recently placed in a Grade 2 handicap hurdle and off the back of that has massive place claims again today.
