14:30 - Laieth

The first race on Thursday is a Handicap over 6 furlongs on the Dirt and we have gone with the Godolphin and Saeed bin Suroor trained Laieth to win the race.

This four year old holds a lot of ability for this yard and has dropped back down in trip to six furlongs for the first time today and the gelding has gone off as favourite in three of his four career runs to date.

He is out of Dubawi and bred primarily to be a speed horse doing a lot of his work near the finish and we fully expect him to make it 3/5 here today.

15:05 - Ispolini

The second race on Thursday is a Handicap over 1 mile 6 furlongs on the turf and we have gone with the Godolphin and the Charlie Appleby trained Ispolini to win the race.

Appleby’s Dubai yard has a 26% strike rate at Meydan in the past year and the 4yo gelding finished second here on seasonal reappearance last week and now up in trip, he’s expected to go one better here against what looks to be a relatively weak field.

15:40 - Desert Frost

The third race on Thursday is a Handicap over 1 mile on the Dirt and we have gone with the Godolphin and Saeed bin Suroor trained Desert Frost to win the race.

This gelding is yet to race over a mile but looked as though he’d appreciate the step up in trip when last seen at Kempton in October.

A very consistent sort with two wins and five places coming from his 11 career runs to date and if taking to this surface won't be far away come the finish.

16:15 - Mia Tesoro

The next race on Thursday is a Group 2 contest for fillies and mares over 1 mile on the turf and we have gone with the Charlie Fellowes trained Mia Tesoro to win the race.

This six year old mare has three wins from four races over a mile and has had a wonderful career. Understandably now a little older but she’s mixed it at this level for a long time and it wouldn’t be a surprise if she at least finished in the places.

16:50 - Big Challenge

The penultimate race on Thursday is a Handicap over 1 mile 2 furlongs on the turf and we have gone with the Godolphin and Saeed bin Suroor trained Big Challenge to win the race.

This five yer old gelding looked a real good 3yo in 2017 finishing second to the eventual Group winner Monarchs Glen.

Has been really disappointing since, but if he lives up to half of the promise he once showed he could cause a real surprise and is one to keep an eye on tomorrow.

17:25 - Desert Fire

The last race on Thursday is a Handicap over 1 mile on the turf and we have gone with the Godolphin and Saeed bin Suroor trained Desert Fire to win the race.

This four year old colt has showed plenty of potential when claiming back to back wins in England last summer. Seems nicely handicapped on Meydan debut and much is thought of him and can impress at a nice weight.
