13:35 Wolverhampton - The Bombardier Golden Beer Lincoln Trial Handicap Stakes

To start the day off on ITV Racing they are heading over to lovely Wolverhampton for a decent Class 2 Handicap and we are going for the course and distance winner Via Serendipity.

The Stuart Williams trained six year old has turned into a bit of an all weather specialist this season running on it four times since October and winning twice.

He won nicely at the back end of last year at Kempton in a 14 runner event which looked to have a similar field to this one and then last time out he scored at Wolverhampton beating the favourite Fox Power.

He does give weight away again today but should give good account of himself.

13:55 Ayr - Tennent's Light Handicap Chase

With Sandown called off due to the track being waterlogged all over the track Ayr have stepped in with three races to be on the ITV Racing show this weekend.

In the first race of the day from Scotland we fancy Clan Legend for the Nick Alexander team who has been the picture of consistency recently.

This season the gelding has ran four times placing in three of his events, winning one of them and with him enjoying really muddy conditions he will be in his element on Saturday.

14:10 Wolverhampton - The Heed Your Hunch At Betway Handicap

Next up at Wolves its another Class 2 Handicap but this time for the sprinters over six furlongs and Concierge for trainer David Loughnane catches the eye.

Despite being bumper up in the weights he holds the class angle having won over course and distance at Wolverhampton on his final start.

Before that he had placed in his three other events this year showing that six furlongs is his game and if handling the extra weight has a big chance.

14:10 - Concierge 7/2

14:30 Ayr - Heverlee mares' Handicap Hurdle

The Mares Handicap Hurdle is the next race on the broadcast and again it sees a smaller field than usual go to post and the horse that takes the eye is Jessiemac.

The Ian Duncan trained six year old has not done a lot wrong this season with two wins at the track with one of them coming over course and distance and last time out she was a smart second at Newcastle.

The second last time out reads really well and the more rain that falls before this race the better for this mud loving mare.

14:45 Wolverhampton - The Bombardier British Hopped Amber Beer Lady Wulfruna Stakes (Listed Race)AYR

The final runner on the broadcast from the West Midlands comes in the feature contest on the card the Listed Lady Wulfruna Stakes and Urban Icon is the one to beat.

The Richard Hannon trained four year old is having his first run of the season and if he returns anything like he was in some hot contests last term, he takes this with ease.

He finished a narrow second at Epsom in the Listed Surrey Stakes and also finished a narrow fourth at Royal Ascot in the Grade Three Jersey Stakes which looks the best form on offer.

He is making his all weather debut but looks like the type that will handle the Tapeta surface.

15:05 Ayr - Tennent's Lager Handicap Hurdle

The final race of the day from Ayr sees the Class 3 Handicap Hurdle over two and a half miles and the Donald McCain trained The Con Man looks a big challenger.

He will be ridden by Brian Hughes who is going the jockeys title and will not waste any opportunity of a winner which is a huge bonus.

For the horse, he likes a very likeable type that started the season off nicely with two seconds and win at Kelso in tricky conditions at Kelso.

He finished fifth last time out in a hot 15 runner Handicap Hurdle with the winner franking Grade One form and that run sets the standard here.
