The 3-y-o colt was strong in the market when making his return here at the end of January but he was given an impossible task which resulted in him flashing home for a never-nearer second.
It could be argued that that performance suggests he will be a better horse over 6f, but he showed plenty of finishing speed, and Ortiz will surely make more use of him in the early sectionals this time around.
