12:40 - Saint D’Oroux

The first race of the day sees a young field of three year olds go to post and Gordon is looking to pick off where he legft off yesterday with his new recruit Saint D’Oroux.

The trainer landed five of the seven races yesterday and looks to have a strong chance with this gelding who was moved over to Ireland after just one race in France.

He finished a good in a hurdles contest at Dieppe under Guillaume Macaire and looks a bright young star that could get off the mark on his debut for the yard.

13:15 - Envoi Allen

The Maiden Hurdle over two miles tomorrow features one of the most exciting horses that is having his first run over hurdles in Envoi Allen for Gordon Elliott.

This five year old gelding did not put a foot wrong in bumpers last season winning all four of his races in good style including the Grade One Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham festival.

He is highly thought of and has been tipped up by many racing pundits in the run up to the jumps season and he holds the leading form on his first time over flights.

13:50 - Janidil

This Handicap Hurdle fields some really exciting runners that are looking to make a name for themselves this season and the Willie Mullins trained Janidil is one of those horses.

This five year old gelding raced to a good standard in France last season before making his hurdles debut at Tipperary in Ireland last month and got off to a winning start.

He is stepping up for his first try in a handicap and off an opening mark of 125 could be very useful but will need to be at it in an accomplished field.

14:25 - Clan Des Obeaux 9/4

The feature race of the day at Down Royal is the Grade One Irish track is the Ladbrokes Champion Chase and we fancy the English raider Clan Des Obeaux for Paul Nicholls.

Last season the seven year old came on the scene when landing the King Gorge VI Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day and it was a huge break through win for the gelding.

He backed that up at Ascot in the Denman Chase in what looked a perfect prep race for the Gold Cup but when he headed to Cheltenham where he could only manage fifth.

He looked in contention all the way round the track but when it came to getting up the hill he couldn't and he faded near the finish.

He rounded off his season at Aintree with a good second to Kemboy but he was outclassed but his jockey Harry Cobden has said he is bigger and stronger than he was last season which reads well and he has a huge chance to get his campaign up and running here.

14:55 - Real Steel

The Daily Mirror Chase sees just five runners go to post for this Grade Two contest and Real Steel for Willie Mullins looks the one to beat from his exploits last season.

Last season he won three of his starts over fences with his best performance coming last time out at Punchestown in a Grade A Novice Handicap Handicap Chase.

That form has already been franked this season with third going on to win a similar event in September and he is nice in the weights to have another good go at this contest.

15:30 - Frankly All Talk

Another Handicap Chase follows up quickly over three miles and Frankly All Talk looks a smart gelding and has a big chance to get off the mark this morning.

The six year old had a smart season last term over fences landing a decent event at Clonmel on his final start of the season in February.

He backed that up on his seasonal return in a hurdles contest at Tipperary when finishing a nice second which looks a perfect prep run for this event.

16:05 - Easy Work

The final contest of the day is the bumper over two miles and Gordon Elliott is looking to round a successful two days in Northern Ireland with Easywork.

He raced back in February in a tough bumper on his debut where he was a decent third of four behind two smart types and should come on for the break and that first experience.

He looks the stand out pick in this field and even at a short price should dominate the field with the trusty Jamie Codd on board.
