Who To Follow On Saturday At Newmarket - 10/10/20

Horse To Follow - Thunder Moon

The feature race of the entire weekend at Newmarket is the Group One Dewhurst Stakes and we are siding with the Irish runner Thunder Moon.

The son of Zoffany extended his unbeaten run to two races when landing the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at The Curragh and before that won over the same course and distance in a maiden.

The juvenile took a huge step forward to land the black type event that was last year won by Pinatubo and they are following in the footsteps of the superstar by heading into this race on Saturday.

Off the back of his win he went to favourite for this event and is now battling it out with Chindit at the top of the market, but if running to the same form as his Curragh win he is the leading contender.

Trainer To Follow - Sir Michael Stoute

Sir Michael Stoute has been a legendary trainer for a seriously long time now and still manages to produce smart horses every season.

Having had another fair season he will be looking to finish strong and over the last two weeks has been posing a strike rate of 20% with his runners.

Stoute has some live chances on Saturday with Maximal in the Group Three Autumn Stakes and in the Lucky Last Highest ground seems to be his best chance on the day.

Jockey To Follow -Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore could have a superb day on Saturday riding the favourite in the Zetland Stakes and also again in the Darley Group Three Stakes.

Moore has some strong rides for both Aidan O'Brien, especially with Kyprios who looks a really exciting prospect for the Ballydoyle yard having won nicely on his debut.

Moore over the last two weeks has been riding at a strike rate of 14% after landing four winners from 29 runners and he will be looking to boos that before the week is over.
