Trainer To Follow - Sir Michael Stoute

Sir Michael Stoute has two runners at Sandown on Saturday and both of them have live chances across the card and that makes him the handler to follow.

In the feature Group three Brigadier Gerard Stakes he fields Bay Bridge who was highly progressive last season and steps into Group company for the first time.

In the Class 3 Whitsun Cup Handicap over a mile Stoute fields Inigo Jones who should be much fitter for his seasonal reappearance.

Stoute heads into the meeting sporting a strike rate of 19% for the last two weeks, managing to land three winners from his last 16 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore has managed to pick up a handful of smart rides at Sandown on Thursday evening which makes him the rider to follow.

Starting in the opener he sits on the Gary Moore trained The Whipmaster who was a bright winner last time out at Lingfield and should go well again off only 2lb higher.

He rides outsider Michaela's Boy in the Listed National Stakes who could run a big race and then in the Group Three Henry II Stakes he sits on John Leeper who tackles this trip for the first time.

One of his best rides of the afternoon comes in the G3 Brigadier Gerard Stakes with Bay Bridge looking a very smart horse stepping into group company for the first time.

Moore finishes the card off with two smart rides in the two final races, sitting on Inigo Jone for Sir Michael Stoute in the Class 3 Handicap and then on the favourite in the last Sip And Smile for George Boughey.

Moore heads into the meeting sporting a strike rate of 18% for the last two weeks, managing to land five winners from his last 28 rides.
